The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Warriors Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of characters, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences increasing in influence within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The third episode ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will branch out from the primary party to undertake their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might look unsuited, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the group knows exactly where to head next after a intense initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his own means, invading the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to auction.

Casimir then settled his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires revenge.
  • The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could enable the team reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The cleric defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

Based on the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to form the Questers and Schemers parties.

Fans can anticipate discovering which players will be where in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on October 24.
